Author Steffen Winkler

is head of division Factory Automation at Bosch Rexroth AG in Lohr am Main. After studying electrical engineering, he initially worked as development engineer, product manager and later as head of product management before he switched to sales in 2006. Besides his main tasks, his additional focal points were the development of functional sectors (product management, industry sales), cooperation management as well as the development of product areas, sales regions and channels. After heading the corporate strategy at Bosch Rexroth, with the focal points company-wide strategy development, business segment and site planning, strategic projects or mergers & acquisitions, he today heads the market segment Factory Automation, which includes amongst others the industry segments Automotive, Machine Tools, Printing, Packaging, Electronics, Plastics Machinery and Aerospace.
With more than twenty years of professional experience and active involvement in diverse sector associations, Mr. Winkler is an expert of the global automation market. In 2012, he complemented his specialist background with a Master’s degree in B2B marketing at the FU Berlin.
